Iris lives like any other typical woman in her early 20s in Brooklyn, New York although she is far beyond her years at heart. Struggling with the imminent death of Adelaide, her last and closest family member who is in hospice, she joins a support group and meets Tom, a young drifting artist who she slowly grows attached to.
