Quand ils étaient à la fac, Zhao Mo Sheng et He Yi Chen étaient en couple. Mais Mo Sheng est partie aux Etats-Unis du jour au lendemain, sans dire un mot à Yi Chen.
Des années plus tard, Yi Chen est devenu avocat et Mo Sheng photographe. Ils finissent par se revoir par hasard.
