Sega,
Ichiban Kasuga, jeune recrue d'une famille de yakuzas modeste basée à Tokyo, accepte de passer 18 ans en prison pour un meurtre qu'il n'a pas commis. Il purge sa peine sans jamais perdre foi en son cercle, mais découvre à sa sortie que personne ne l'attendait et que le clan a été anéanti par l'homme qu'il admirait le plus au monde.
Ichiban se promet de découvrir la vérité cachée derrière cette trahison et de reprendre sa vie en main. Ce faisant, il rassemble un groupe de parias pour l'aider dans sa quête : Adachi, un policier déchu, Nanba, un ancien infirmier devenu sans-abris, et Saeko, une hôtesse suivant sa propre mission. Ensemble, ils se trouvent mêlés à un conflit sous-jacent à Yokohama et devront agir à l'unisson pour devenir, contre toute attente, les héros de l'histoire.
