Soon Jae is left alone after his wife, Gwi Ae, suddenly dies. His only son, Min Sik, tells him he will soon emigrate to Jakarta with his family and that Soon Jae will be coming with them. Meanwhile, Soon Doongyi, the ugly stray dog that his wife used to take care of, starts grabbing Soon Jae's attention. He takes him to the vet, where the veterinarian tells him to walk this dog every day.
